About Seam
Who is Seam built for?
Independent real estate agents, small teams, and multi-office brokerages who want their lead follow-up, CRM work, and client-facing plan connected instead of living in separate tools. If you're evaluating this as a buyer or seller rather than an agent, start with the homeowner guide instead — Journey is the client side of the same product.
Who is Seam probably not a good fit for?
A solo agent who only needs a contact list and no CRM discipline may find the full platform more than they need — the plain Journey plan without the CRM entitlement is the lighter option in that case. See current plans for what's actually for sale.
How long does setup actually take?
There's no formal onboarding gate — the workspace is usable from the first sign-in. Most teams are working real leads and clients within the first week; see the quick-start guide for what the first two weeks typically look like.
Do I have to replace the CRM my team already uses?
No. Seam can become the team's daily workspace or be introduced alongside an existing system. Any available connection between systems is reviewed with you before anything moves — tell us what you're moving from and we'll walk through what that looks like for your setup.
Where is Seam available?
Everywhere in the United States. Journey and Journey Agent + CRM are open for self-serve sign-up in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with no waitlist or state to choose at checkout. Local market context is richer in the metros already covered, so tell us where you work if you want specifics for your area.
02 / Pricing & billing
Pricing & billing
How much does Seam cost?
See current pricing for exact numbers — it's the one place prices are kept up to date, so this page links there instead of restating figures that could drift out of sync.
What's the difference between the individual and brokerage plans?
An individual plan covers one person. A brokerage plan is seat-priced across your team, with a minimum seat count, and adds the management tools brokerage owners and managers use — offices, agent invitations, roster oversight, and billing delegation. See the brokerage management guide for what that management layer actually does.
Is there a long-term contract?
Plans bill monthly or yearly, whichever you choose, with no separate multi-year lock-in beyond that billing cycle. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period rather than immediately cutting you off mid-cycle.
Can I change seat count or plan later?
Yes — a brokerage owner or their delegated billing manager can preview and apply seat and capacity changes, switch billing interval, or schedule cancellation from Account Settings at any time; see the brokerage management guide's billing section.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your client and transaction records are yours. If you're planning to cancel, reach out beforehand at [email protected] or through Request a walkthrough so we can walk through exporting what you need before the subscription ends.
03 / Data & security
Data & security
Who can see a client's information?
Only the roles that need to, and only the parts they need. A client's realty team sees the shared plan and work needed to serve the relationship; an invited partner sees only the specific request in their invitation; internal team notes never appear in a client's view. The Security & Trust page covers this in more detail.
Does Seam have a SOC 2 report or specific security certification?
We don't publish a specific compliance certification claim today. If that's a requirement for your organization's procurement or security review, ask us directly rather than assuming one way or the other from marketing copy.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes, self-service, for every role. Each role's guide describes its own in-app deletion flow — a password-confirmed request with a cancellable grace window before it becomes permanent, rather than a support ticket you have to wait on.
04 / Support & setup
Support & setup
What if my team needs help partway through setup?
Every role has an in-app way to ask for help without leaving their workflow — agents and homeowners have a Request help flow, and brokerage managers can reach their account contact directly. For anything before you've signed up, use Request a walkthrough or email [email protected].
Is there a glossary if I run into an unfamiliar term?
Yes — see the glossary, organized by role and category, for terms like Today, Journey, work item, and referral.
Where do I go once I have an account?
Start with the guide for your role: real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and homeowners, partners, or brokerage management.
